Overview
A slower Rajasthan journey for travellers who want more than the big cities. Stop at Ajmer Sharif, the shrine of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, and spend an evening in Pushkar, one of India's holiest towns, with its lake, ghats and rare Brahma temple.
In Udaipur, see the City Palace on the banks of Lake Pichola, take a boat on the lake at sunset, and walk the gardens of Saheliyon ki Bari. With an extra day, drive out to the great walls of Kumbhalgarh or the fort of Chittorgarh.
