Overview
Salasar Balaji in Churu district is one of North India's best known Hanuman temples, about 170 km from Jaipur on the Jaipur to Bikaner highway. Devotees traditionally offer a coconut and tie a sacred thread with their wish. Khatu Shyam Ji lies on the way, so most families cover both temples in one long day.
We start before sunrise, reach Khatu Shyam Ji first, then continue to Salasar for darshan and lunch near the temple, and drive back to Jaipur by night. The order can be reversed depending on temple timings and crowds on your date.
Crowds are heaviest around Hanuman Jayanti and on Tuesdays and Saturdays. If you are travelling then, tell us and we will plan an earlier start.
